A further place of discovery near San Rafael is the Cerro Victoria Mountain. Agate nodules of this find region are outwardly somewhat wavily irregular and often reddish colored. In their inside were some the most beautiful agates of the region San Rafael. For the find zone strong colors are typical. Now and then an irregular colorization can be foud (“chromatography”). Further typical are nodules showing an intensive colouring only in the center. In the outside range these agates are rather grey bluish.
