Around the small village Brenda (near to Quartzite) agate- and jasper-veins can be found, that are leading nicely plume agates in different colours - from yellow to orange to a strong brick-red. Also stalactitical formations are typical.
The proximity to Quartzite causes however that these places of discovery, although they are situated in remoted areas, get patronage by experienced Rockhounds, which went to the Quartzite show and so the finds over the years got scarce.
