The agates I could buy from Mr. Hugo Schuler in the year 2003 are having an approximately size from 60 - 120 mm. The nodules are heavily waterworn. Their colour is dominated by brownish tones contrasting to shades of blue, red and black.

Typically for this lot of agates is the formation of “water-level-banding” and the formation of single standing well crystallized spherulithics. Several specimen are showing chromatografies.

Another type of specimen is showing the formation of an breccia-like agglomeration in the basic part of the nodule.
