Near to the border with South Africa can be found in the vicinity of Beitbridge agate nodules up to a size of 14 cm. This area, it seems, is the extension of the finding site of Musina in South Africa.

The gravitational banding, that is involved in all patterns is typical for the agates of Beitbridge. The colors are usually grey and white, pink, reddish and rarely purple tinted.
