Eich and Dönstedt - the two large, directly neighbouring quarries are appropriate for approx. 1.5 km northern Bebertal (Alvensleben), approx. 6 km southwest Haldensleben. A Paläoandesit is operated and particularly in the Quarry Eich is this rock richly on up to 30 cm large nodules. They contained beside quartz - frequently as smoke quartz or amethyst formed - Hematite, Calcite, Siderite and barite also very beautifully banded agate in white, pink to red colours, whereby much brightened with strongly colored bandes several times alternate.
