These are small, bean-shaped nodules with surficial eyes in white, pale blue, orange and black. The eyes extend into the agate no deeper than their radius, thats why they are not cut. They get grinded or tumbled. The eyes are perfectly circular, like drawn by a pair of compasses. They are found about five miles south of Estacion Moctezuma, west of Highway 45.

Bean Agates have been very popular in the mid-1950`s to early 1960s. They are picked from the surface. Nowadays they are rare and hard to get.
