Agate-collectors “in top secret mission” don´t like to give to other agate-collectors an exactly spezification of the origin of their best findings. Very often they are given all the different rhine-hessian locations one single location : “Alzey”.

But indeed there´s a very small deposit of ancient agate-bearing wiesbach-gravel, that belongs to the township of Alzey. But it is difficult to find more than one single nodule each year.
