Agates from south Sumatra are offered since 2009. They are showing on the inside fine banding and partly quite intensive yellow, brown and red tones. Sometimes nicely formed mossy -like agate-structure is showing up. They are found in small creeks, that are flowing trough a region of calcareous hostrock. According to Joel Ivey, the Finder of these agate occurrences, these sedimentary rocks are probably the place of origin of these agates.
