In the Wiley Well region several well-known places of discovery for Thundereggs are situated. Beside the Black Agate Thunderegg bed and Beal´s Well Thunderegg bed Rainey´s Well is a famous location for thundereggs. Here the agates are of completely different coloredness. Also the different pattern of the matrix is evident between the places of discovery. The formation of so-called Turkey Tail Thundereggs is very remarkable. They show a pattern similarly to the feathers of the tail of a turkey.
G. Ross is describing these tunderegg locations at www.desertusa.com.
