Prudent man agate is a relatively new gem-material (2006) from the Alder Mining District near to Mackay, Idaho. The Miner, Steve Howard workes two different veins of a plume-like patterned vein-agate. The specimen shown here belong to the vein # 1. They show typical green fernlike plumes.
