After reports of agate-collectors is the work at the “red bed” on the Richardson Rock Ranch (“Priday Ranch”) clearly more sweaty than at other ”beds”. As reward for the hard work one receives however the chance to find thundereggs with attractive colors (red, brown, pink, black and the pervasive bluish gray). The form of the lithophysae hardly differs from those of the “blue bed”. As agate structures one finds fortification-agate and mossy-like structured agate here besides “water-level-agate” (gravitational banded agate).
