Manville agates from Wyoming are classified by the specialists as “Fairburn agates”. They resemble these in pattern and originate likewise from the Minnelusa formation, from which they are wheathered and distributed trough out the Great Plains. Their colouring is outwardly on their skin often more beautiful than in the center- therefore they are cut and polished only rarely.
