The now obsolete wind turbines built in 2001 were replaced in 2013. The construction works were used by agate-collectors to carry out profound excavations with heavy equipment. But the results of the diggings were very different. Not every attempt was successful.

The Mineralieverein Freisen was however granted to recover a larger number of agate nodules. These were not unlike the findings from 2001. However, they recovered but also a new type of intense red coloured agate. The banding of the specimen is mostly weak. The occurrence of larger iron pigments and the formation of Liesegang-Rings and- formations is remarkable.
