In the gravel pit Dörsfeld are the better agate finds in the fractions of five centimeters and more. In addition to agates also the findings of oolithical jaspers are very interesting here (4, 10 ) and petrified wood (6). The specimen shown here shows strong agreement with the fire wood from the Donnersberg Mountain in the Palatinate.
