Near to the City Weiser in Idaho the finding-location Beacon Hill is situated. The typical agates from this place are called Idaho-Potatoes because of their shape and skin.
The pattern is composed of bluish-grey and white colours and is showing both structures fortification-banding as well as water-level-agate.
Sometimes the water-level-agate banding is showing a tilt in the banding. The banding is showing an inclination from approximately 15°. This worldwide very rare case is the evidence for petrographical moving of the hostrock.
