A further "homeless" rock, which finds its place on this side, is the so-called "red and golden mossy agate from Chihuahua". It was imported to Idar Oberstein in the early 1980ies "from Mexico...", The exact finding-location is so far unknown to me. It is a vein-like formation of a Chalcedony with mossy like inclusions in red, golden and brown tones. The width of the veins reaches about 15 cm in the maximum.
If you should know more resuming facts about this rock, I would be very glad, if you would take up contact with me.
